Who makes it happen?
Your ProFund Consultant will assist your organization in building the volunteer leadership team that will be necessary to conduct a successful fund-raising campaign. To begin you only need a few volunteers. Each volunteer position has a short, specific and well-defined responsibility.
What are other ProFund advantages?
In conducting hundreds of campaigns across North America, ProFund has perfected the system and the tools necessary for success. These include materials for training, recruiting, managing the event and much more. And, of course, the role of your ProFund Consultant is absolutely essential to the successful outcome of the campaign. He/She will guide you through every step of the system, culminating in the event itself.
How long does it take to prepare for a ProFund Event?
The typical ProFund program requires 12 weeks of preparation prior to the actual event. In the first weeks the event team is recruited and trained. Subsequently, fund-raisers are recruited and pledges are raised. In the middle of this process, before the actual event, a recruitment event is held to provide motivation and additional incentives for your fundraising team.
Is it difficult to collect pledges?
No! The ProFund system has proven to be very effective, though it is very low-key. Most organizations collect nearly all their pledges, and some actually exceed the total pledged. Of course, ProFund provides all the direction and materials needed for this part of the program.
What, specifically, does ProFund provide?
In addition to complete, in-depth training and ongoing consultation (before, during and after the campaign), your organization will receive an Event Kit with all materials needed to conduct your event. Your ProFund consultant will be in constant contact with your team to ensure no detail is left undone. Your team focuses on the recruitment of fundraising golfers in conjunction with ProFund's proven format.
How is ProFund compensated?
As compensation for consultation, materials, and the licensed use of its program, ProFund's fees are based on a percentage which is one of the lowest in the industry. In essence, we become partners with you and your success becomes our success.
What is our risk?
